Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
You can still recycle your plastic bags at the Library -- but why not purchase a new Library tote bag for just $1.00? (P.S. the new bags are washable and recyclable!)
TechnoTrash Recycling at DPPL - the Library now has a small collection bin in the lobby for "technotrash" items:
· CDs, DVDs, diskettes
· Videotapes, cassettes
· Jewel cases, VHS cases
· Printer cartridges
· Pagers, PDAs
· Rechargeable batteries
· Cables, cords
Cell phones may also be recycled at the Library, but use the bin for "Cell Phones for Seniors."
We cannot take large items, such as computer components or commercial toner cartridges.
Check out MRK Group Ltd., located in Elgin, IL.
MRK accepts some computer-related items for free on the last Friday of the month.
